Last week, we had the privilege of sending ten of our senior school students to the inspiring FOBISIA Student Environmental Conference in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The excitement began on Thursday, 7 March, as our students were warmly welcomed by the host, Kellett School, The British International School in Hong Kong, and treated to a viewing of DELIKADO, the Emmy-nominated enviro-thriller documentary by Karl Malakunas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the conference, our students got to hear from various organisations and schools about crucial environmental issues like plastic pollution and shark finning. They also took a moment to reflect on the significance of the United Nations\u2019s Sustainable Development Goals, pondering how each of us can contribute to positive change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the enriching conference sessions, our students actively participated in a beach clean-up at Shek O Back Beach and embarked on an invigorating hike up the iconic Dragon\u2019s Back Trail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together, they embraced the spirit of sustainability, reminding us all that we are truly better together in our collective efforts to safeguard our planet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
