Our Lower School students enjoyed a week of mathematical discovery and excitement during Maths Week, an initiative designed to bring numbers to life and foster a love of learning through creative and engaging activities.
The week featured a diverse programme of events, including a film screening that explored mathematical concepts, musical counting sessions, and opportunities to count in different languages, celebrating both numeracy and cultural diversity. Students were supported by our Senior School pupils, who served as mentors and role models, demonstrating the collaborative spirit that defines our community.
The celebrations culminated in a special Maths Week Assembly and the highly anticipated Clanchy Lecture, which provided students with an inspiring perspective on the wonder and relevance of mathematics in everyday life. The week successfully demonstrated that mathematics can be both challenging and enjoyable, encouraging our young learners to approach problem-solving with curiosity and confidence.
