When Winston Mandrawa was searching for the right school for his daughter, he wasn’t just looking at curriculum – he was looking for passionate educators who could truly inspire her learning journey.
After visiting numerous international schools in Singapore, he found what he was looking for at North London Collegiate School (Singapore). “What the teachers do, how they sound, and how they interact – that energy is one of the core differences that sets NLCS (Singapore) apart,” Winston shares.
His daughter’s experience has exceeded expectations. From her Junior School teacher who helped her discover new ways to write and communicate, to her current 14 teachers in Senior School who are “truly in love with their subjects,” the impact has been transformative. “I can see how my daughter is inspired to learn at NLCS (Singapore),” he notes.
What impressed Winston most? How quickly lessons are put into practice, reflecting an approach that goes beyond repetition and drilling. “It’s an education which doesn’t just permeate through my daughter, but also flows through the rest of us at home,” he adds.
Interestingly, the final decision to attend NLCS (Singapore) came from his daughter herself – a clear sign they had found the perfect fit.
