初中(6-8 年级)

六年级(11-12 年级)

NLCS (Singapore) blends British academic rigour with Singapore’s high educational standards, offering a globally recognised IB curriculum that emphasises critical thinking, creativity, and cross-disciplinary understanding.

Students in Grades 6–10 follow the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), while Grades 11–12 undertake the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP), offering a broad and balanced academic foundation recognised by top universities worldwide.

Students select from a diverse range of subjects across Languages, Sciences, Humanities, Mathematics, and the Arts, leading to the IB Diploma’s six-subject structure plus Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay, and CAS.

Lessons are inquiry-based and discussion-driven, encouraging analysis, collaboration, and self-reflection. Students are guided to take ownership of their learning and think beyond the textbook.

We offer a nurturing learning environment where our highly qualified teachers provide individual feedback and personalised academic support, ensuring every student receives focused attention and meaningful engagement in lessons.

We firmly believe that the careful and limited use of technology can enhance learning. Students are introduced to digital tools where they provide maximum benefit for learning in subjects, and our school library has a very wide range of online tools and platforms to help students with research.

The transition is supported through mentoring, guidance counselling, and academic preparation programmes that help students adjust to greater independence and academic challenge with confidence.

Assessment is continuous and reflective, including coursework, projects, presentations, and formal exams. Students in Grades 11–12 complete the externally marked IB Diploma examinations

Differentiated instruction, enrichment pathways, and mentoring programmes challenge high achievers while providing tailored support to students who benefit from additional guidance.

Parents receive regular progress reports, attend parent-teacher conferences, and are encouraged to directly contact teachers at any time they would like further feedback, ensuring open communication and collaboration.

Through the IB framework, intercultural learning, and global citizenship projects, students explore world issues and perspectives, developing empathy and a broad understanding of the global community.

The Senior School’s curriculum fosters inquiry, experimentation, and innovation through advanced Science labs, STEM clubs, and hands-on projects. Students develop analytical and practical skills that prepare them for future scientific and technological fields.
