Throughout the second half of Term 1, Level 2 was transformed into a vibrant celebration of imagination with our Hidden Worlds Exhibition. This showcase gave our students the chance to bring unseen realms to life, revealing miniature universes, mysterious landscapes, and stories tucked between shadows and light.
We were thrilled by the impressive array of submissions for this year’s Visual Arts Competition. Our students embraced the theme with originality and passion, producing artworks that captured curiosity and wonder. Each piece reflected a unique vision, demonstrating both creativity and dedication, hallmarks of the arts education at our international school in Singapore.
Some standout creations included:
- Carnival of Cosmic Creatures by Helios Wijaya (G2) – a playful exploration where drawing new things makes hidden worlds come alive.
- Hidden World by Austin Wang (G4) – a fantastical vision of five extraordinary islands beneath a city: Treasure, Poor, Candy, Forest, and Magic Island.
- Bash’s Fairy Hollow by Bash Go (G4) – a teapot house surrounded by moss and mushrooms, a secret place revealed only to those who look closely.

This exhibition offers a glimpse into worlds beyond the ordinary and celebrates the joy of artistic exploration at NLCS (Singapore). We look forward to seeing even more imaginative creations in the future as our students continue to explore, experiment, and inspire one another through art.
