Earlier this month, Maeji in G11 attended the ASEAN Youth Organization conference in Jakarta. The conference, whose theme this year was “Guardians of The Sustainable Future for a Resilient ASEAN”, invited young individuals from ASEAN member states and its allies to convene and engage in discussions pertaining to the challenges facing ASEAN amidst the global uncertainties and pledged to contribute to implementing an agenda for peace, stability, solidarity, unity, prosperity, and sustainability in ASEAN.
Maeji and her group were awarded as an outstanding project pitching group on ASCC Pillar, where she will be implementing a 6-month project on PWD’s educational training to enhance PWDs employability in the primary and basic unit of government in the Barangay Maonon, Philippines. The project will be fully funded by the Barangay Officials in Barangay Maonon, Albay and the Ministry of Human Development and Cultural Affairs in Indonesia.
Well done Maeji on such a fantastic achievement!
