We are proud to introduce the 2025-26 Big 6 at NLCS (Singapore), a group of students whose leadership is defined not by titles alone, but by purpose, empathy, and a genuine commitment to our community. Selected through a highly competitive process, each student demonstrated clarity of vision, thoughtfulness, and a strong desire to make a meaningful difference for others.
What stood out throughout the selection process was their shared belief that leadership is about service. These students spoke with maturity about inclusion, collaboration, wellbeing, and the importance of creating opportunities for every voice to be heard. Their ideas reflected the values that sit at the heart of NLCS (Singapore): curiosity, kindness, and community.
- Saket Subramaniam, our Academic Ambassador, is focused on expanding academic opportunities and empowering students to lead initiatives that inspire younger year groups.
- As School Captain and Arts Ambassador, Riya Koshy hopes to champion creativity while strengthening connection and community across the school.
- Chen Bin Wang brings a powerful personal perspective to his role as Internationalism, Diversity and Inclusion Ambassador, advocating for inclusion that feels natural, joyful, and shared.
- As Sports Ambassador, Amara Sahir is passionate about encouraging participation, service, and women’s empowerment through sport.
- Jean-Edouard Dahy, Service Ambassador and School Captain, is driven by improvement, working to support others while strengthening communication and systems across the school.
- Completing the team, Welfare Ambassador Anya Sanghrajka is dedicated to student wellbeing, amplifying student voice, and nurturing school spirit.
Together, the Big 6 represent leadership rooted in action, care, and integrity, qualities nurtured through the comprehensive pastoral and leadership programmes at NLCS (Singapore). With their energy and vision, we are excited to see the positive impact they will make on student life and the wider school community in the year ahead.
