Bindu is one of the promoters in the PNCI in the U.A.E. She has been associated with PNCI Group since 2008 and spearheaded the operations and team building for certain group companies.
She had set up Sobha Landscaping and Nurseries LLC –FZ (2013) and Sia Landscaping LLC (2014) to cater to the landscaping requirements of UAE companies as well as the Group’s growing residential development portfolio – Sobha Hartland and District One projects located in Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City. As the Director of these companies, she is actively involved in the operations and expansion of this division.
She was instrumental in setting up Hartland International School in 2015 where she is also a Governor. Thereafter, she has also set up the North London Collegiate School, Dubai in 2017, which has fast grown to become one of the leading schools in the city. The Dubai schools have a team of more than 350+ staff in the education business with around 1,600 students across the 2 Dubai schools.
She also set up the mid-income residential real estate development under the Meraki brand.
Ajay Rajendran is the Founder and Chairman of Meraki Group. Under his leadership the Group started its operations in the UAE in 2005. In his capacity as Chairman, Ajay has helped shape the Group’s growth in the UAE and Singapore.
He is the Chairman of the Education business leading the three schools’ education portfolio – North London Collegiate School Dubai, North London Collegiate School Singapore and Hartland International School. He leads a team of more than 900+ staff in the education business with around 5,500+ students across the three schools.
He also acts as Chairman for mid income residential real estate businesses as well as contracting businesses in Dubai. The real estate project has been very well received with exquisite quality and finishing and is fully sold. Ajay is known for incisive industry analysis and team-building skills ensuring the Group projects throughout the region are delivered to the highest quality standards.
His experience in the entire spectrum of real estate, construction, facilities management, education operations, and business strategy and planning while keeping ‘customer’ at the centre of everything has led to setting up one of the top premium IB schools in Dubai and Singapore.
Ajay is a gold medalist in Chemical Engineering from M.S University Baroda and holds a post-graduate degree in Business Administration from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, University of Mumbai.
Founding Principal, Paul Friend will lead an exceptional team of educators at NLCS (Singapore). Paul moved to Singapore in August 2019 following five years as Principal at NLCS Jeju. Under his leadership, school enrollment grew significantly and delivered excellent academic results year on year with several students placed in Ivy league universities.
Prior to NLCS Jeju, Paul was the Headmaster at Dulwich College Shanghai where he served for six years. Under his tenure the school was ranked among the top three schools in the world by the Good Schools Guide.
Raymond read Law at the National University of Singapore. After completing his studies, Raymond joined Drew & Napier LLC in 2002. Raymond is now the Chief Executive Officer of DrewCorp Services Pte Ltd and a Director in the Corporate Restructuring & Workouts Practice Group in Drew & Napier.
Raymond leads DrewCorp Services which provides chartered secretaries, corporate administration, immigration, document process, notary public and scrutineer services to corporate and individual clients of Drew & Napier and other businesses operating in and outside Singapore. Raymond acts as Company Secretary to several companies listed on the SGX. He has been appointed as an independent scrutineer for general meetings of companies listed on the SGX.
Ian joined NLCS (UK) as its Chief Operating Officer in 2015 after a PGCE course at Oxford University. Ian is accountable for finance, operations and compliance at NLCS (UK), and in addition the School’s overseas franchises and partnerships. Ian has over 30 years’ experience in the aviation and aerospace sectors working for Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd, HAECO, the Swire Group and Rolls-Royce Plc.
Ian has extensive experience in joint ventures. He has held senior leadership roles in a wide variety of disciplines including business development, personnel, marketing and sales, country management, and manufacturing and service operations.
Ian has a degree in geography from Oxford University. He is a keen skier, bicyclist, tennis player and ornithologist, and is also a qualified rowing coach.
