The term came to a joyful close with our much-anticipated Christmas Fayre, an event that once again brought our school community together in a spirit of warmth, creativity, and festive celebration. From the moment families arrived on campus, excitement filled the air, with this year’s beautifully reimagined Santa’s Grotto offering a truly magical experience for our students.
Across the school, the Fayre was sparkled with activity. The FunZone buzzed with energy as our students enjoyed games, challenges, and festive surprises, while the canteen became a lively hub of crafts and seasonal treats. On Levels 1 and 2, charity stalls were run with enthusiasm and purpose, encouraging families to support meaningful causes and reminding us of the importance of giving during the holiday season.
Our NLCSConnect Creative Club added a special artistic touch, hosting hands-on workshops that invited children to explore their imagination and take home their own creations. In the auditorium, the Christmas Market welcomed families with handmade items, gifts, and festive delights. The atmosphere was lifted further by performances from our Music Department, whose seasonal melodies created the perfect backdrop for browsing, chatting, and celebrating together.
Events like this showcase the vibrant community spirit at our international school in Singapore, where families, staff, and students come together to create lasting memories. The Fayre would not be possible without the dedication of our staff and the generosity of our parent volunteers at NLCS (Singapore). From running stalls and supervising activities to helping children navigate the excitement, their support was invaluable. A team of festive “elves” also worked alongside the Events Team to transform the school into a seasonal wonderland.
