As part of our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, our junior school students embarked on an exciting and educational project for Earth Day 2023. They wholeheartedly embraced the theme of reducing plastic waste as they explored the concepts of recycling and the circular economy.
Our creative students took on the challenge of fashioning unique outfits entirely from plastic and waste products. They tapped into their inventive spirits and transformed everyday materials into stunning and eye-catching ensembles.
Our youngest eco warriors in the First School also worked collaboratively to create informative posters aimed to raise awareness about the pressing issue of plastic pollution in our oceans. Through these engaging projects, our students not only learned about the negative impact of plastic on our ecosystems but also discovered the significance of the circular economy and the idea that by repurposing materials, we can reduce our reliance on single-use plastic and contribute to a more sustainable future.
