Five talented students from NLCS (Singapore) took part in ‘Ignite’, a student-run entrepreneurship competition at NLCS Jeju last weekend. Participants were tasked with developing a business idea based on the competition prompt “The Aging Population”.
This event marked the culmination of a series of online mentoring sessions held since December, dedicated to helping students develop the skills required to launch a business.
Throughout the competition, students were immersed in real-life business scenarios, collaborating within randomly assigned teams representing diverse backgrounds. This dynamic environment aptly mirrored the complexities of the global business landscape, offering invaluable experiential learning opportunities.
The two-day, in-person competition aimed to equip students with practical skills and transform them into adept problem solvers. The caliber of competition was exceptionally high, and it fills me with immense pride to announce that one of our students emerged victorious as part of the winning team, alongside three other talented individuals from NLCS Jeju. 🏆
This achievement not only underscores the talent and dedication of our students but also speaks volumes about the effectiveness of our educational approach to enable every individual student to make the most of their intellect and ambition.
Congratulations to all participants for their remarkable achievements, and a big thank you to the organisers for providing such an enriching experience.
