At NLCS (Singapore) we are committed to providing the highest standards of pastoral care to ensure the wellbeing of all our students. We aim to create a safe and supportive environment in which every member of the School feels valued, and all students can flourish.
The pastoral care systems in our Senior School are built around the principle that every child is known and cared for. Each student will be assigned to a House and will belong to a Tutor Group led by two forms tutors and made up of students within their Grade. Throughout the year, students will have opportunities to work with and participate in events with their Tutor Group, their Grade and their Houses, creating a strong sense of community.
All staff have a commitment and responsibility to the highest standards of pastoral care, wellbeing and safeguarding. Additional expert support for students includes the School Nurse and the Emotional Guidance Counsellor.
