Hosted by NLCS (Singapore), the Young Musician of the Year 2026 celebrates artistry, dedication, and ambition in young musicians aged 5 –18. Participants will compete across Strings, Woodwind, Brass, and Piano.
Selected performers will take the stage in a professional setting and present their music to an international panel of judges, sharing their talent within a vibrant community of excellence.
Winners will be invited to a gala concert, and the Concerto Finalists will have the unique opportunity to perform alongside a Symphony Orchestra. Winners of each age category will also record at Singapore’s legendary Lion Studios with Songwork International, and at the highest level, one outstanding musician will be recognised with a $5,000 scholarship for their outstanding promise.
This event highlights the dedication and talent of young musicians while providing unparalleled opportunities for growth, performance, and recognition on both a national and international stage.
