Decision

Upon receipt of an offer of a school place, the offer must be accepted within SEVEN working days. Upon offer acceptance, parents must sign the student contract and complete the payment within 10 working days of receiving the contract to confirm their child’s place. If the contract is not signed within 10 working days and payment has not been made, the offer will expire.

Waiting Lists

If students are deemed to be admissible, but places in the Grade are not available, the applicant will be placed on a waiting list. The waiting list rolls over each year so that the prioritisation of the applicants on the list is maintained. Parents of candidates remaining on the waiting list may be contacted and asked to submit new supporting documents. Waiting list positions are not disclosed to parents.

Order of priority is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to:

  • A sibling of a current student
  • A child transferring from another North London Collegiate School
  • A child of an alumnus of NLCS (Old North Londoner)
Offers Not Made

Where a student is not offered a place at the School, students are permitted to re-apply after 12 months. Re-assessments may be offered or earlier after the initial assessment, upon approval from the Principal. The School’s policy is not to release the results of the assessment tests.

A copy of the North London Collegiate School (Singapore) Admissions Policy is available upon request.
