When asked what helped him perform consistently this term, Minjoon pointed to discipline and a focus on incremental progress. “In swimming and golf, technique and patience matter a lot. By concentrating on effort during every practice and trusting gradual progress, I was able to stay steady throughout the term.” It is a mindset that reflects a maturity well beyond his years, and one that has clearly served him well across two demanding disciplines.
Looking ahead, Minjoon has set clear and ambitious goals for the next term and season. He hopes to continue refining his technique and achieving new personal bests in swimming, while also developing greater consistency in golf. Equally important to him is the collective dimension of sport. “I also want to keep supporting my teammates and representing my school with dedication and sportsmanship,” he shares, a reminder that true athletic excellence extends far beyond individual performance.
Minjoon is a wonderful example of the sporting values we nurture at NLCS (Singapore), and we look forward to seeing all that he will achieve in the months ahead.
