At NLCS (Singapore), our canteen and café serve the school community throughout the day, offering a diverse range of nutritious and delicious dining options. Our trusted food service partner, Victus Catering, prepares fresh meals daily, featuring a rotating international menu that caters to our multicultural community.

Our commitment to student wellbeing is reflected in our food service principles:

  • Fresh, healthy meals prepared daily on campus
  • Diverse international menu options
  • Detailed allergy information for all foods served
  • Strictly nut-free, pork-free, and shellfish-free environment (While all products are pork and lard-free, please note our kitchen is not fully Halal-certified)

As a nut-free school, we kindly request that no nuts or nut-containing products be brought onto campus, whether in packed lunches or as snacks. We appreciate our community’s support in maintaining this important safety measure.

To encourage students to drink water regularly, water fountains are conveniently located throughout the campus. All students are required to bring their own water bottle to school each day, which Junior School students may keep in their classroom.

Junior School students will only receive meals weekly by choosing their details on the portal and pre-ordering your child's meals.

Senior School students will be able to visit the canteen and can only make payments at our school using their ezlink card physically bring the EZ-link card that registered to our payment system to make payment. We will be using the physical EZ-link card which is a stored wallet that is used for the metro system.

Snacks are provided for our students in First School, free of charge, at the beginning of playtime. Lower School students can pre-order snacks through Victus, using the above link. Senior School students will be able to purchase break-time snacks prepared by our caterers. All students can bring in appropriate snacks (nothing that requires refrigeration or that contains nuts) from home.

Budge Square (named after a famous area of the NLCS (UK) gardens) is a coffee shop serving snacks and drinks to staff, parents, Sixth Form students and visitors.  All other students should only use Budge Square if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian, or if a special pass has been awarded
