Dear NLCS (Singapore) Community,
We am delighted to share the outstanding International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme results achieved by our Class of 2026 graduates. The record breaking achievements of this year’s cohort reflect not only the academic ambition but also the resilience, curiosity and determination that have characterised this wonderful group of students throughout their time at NLCS (Singapore).
This year’s headline figures are:
● An average IB Score of 38.16, against a global average of 30.88
● A 100% Pass Rate
● 4 students achieved a perfect score of 45 points
● An all-time high school average of 2.16 points for TOK/EE
● 38.18% of our students achieved 40 points or more
In addition, 56% of our graduates were awarded the prestigious Bilingual Diploma, recognising their high-level academic fluency across multiple languages. To say we are incredibly proud of our students would be an understatement!
These remarkable outcomes have opened doors to some of the world’s leading higher education institutions. Reflecting the strength of this year’s group, 65% of our graduates received at least one off er from a Russell Group university, while 42% of all university off ers came from institutions ranked within the global Top 50 (QS World University Rankings 2026). As soon as final university destinations are confirmed, we will share these with parents, but as our students leave us to pursue an impressive range of disciplines, including Biological Sciences, Architectural Studies, Political Science, Neuroscience, Aerospace Engineering, Medicine, Business, and the Arts we wish them all the very best.
To the Class of 2026, congratulations on all that you have achieved. When we look back on your time with us, what makes your year group so special goes far beyond exam scores or qualifications – this really is just the icing on the cake! When we think about your legacy, we don’t just think about academic results but about the everyday moments – the genuine care you have shown towards our school community, the friendships and the laughter as well as your curiosity, your energy and your resilience. We are so proud of the well-rounded individuals you have become, and we can’t wait to see where life takes you next.
Of course, none of us get to a moment like this alone: this has been a genuine team eff ort, and we are enormously grateful to parents, teachers, and families who have supported you every step of the way. As you embark on this next, exciting chapter, we hope you will remain connected to us as valued members of our alumni network – there is no doubt that you will provide considerable inspiration to the next generation of NLCS (Singapore) students.
