We are pleased to share that NLCS (Singapore) has been featured in WhichSchoolAdvisor’s latest guide on the best international schools in Singapore for young musicians. The guide, based on first-hand school visits, highlights programmes where music feels genuinely embedded in school culture rather than treated as an add-on to the timetable.
During their visit to our campus, the WhichSchoolAdvisor team observed students performing in the open atrium space, with children of different ages confidently playing in front of peers, staff and visiting parents, a moment that spoke to the everyday place music holds in our school community. The guide also highlights our Young Musician of the Year competition, which celebrates young performers aged five to 18 across strings, woodwind, brass and piano, and is open to young musicians from across Singapore, not only students within NLCS (Singapore).
We are proud that our commitment to musical ambition, progression and performance culture has been recognised, and we look forward to continuing to nurture a love of music in all our students.
