Academic ambition is at the core of NLCS (Singapore). In the Senior School, the Vice Principal (Academic) leads the academic programme, supported by a team of Academic Assistant Principals. Together, they deliver a cohesive, rigorous, and innovative curriculum that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and a love of learning. They oversee assessments, monitor academic progress, and provide personalised guidance to help students excel.
In the Junior School, the Vice Principal has overall responsibility for academics, working closely with the Assistant Principals in the First School and Lower School. Their focus is on establishing strong academic foundations, fostering curiosity, and promoting independence. By ensuring smooth transitions between key stages, they support students’ academic and personal development from the earliest years.
